Capital Event Services
It all started in the spring of 2015 when out of nowhere the news broke about the sale of Marc Parc, which used to be the region’s major player in special event valet. The new company based out of Canada announced they are interested in the parking garage only and closed special event valet immediately. Then Capital Event Services founder Fasil Getachew saw a vision to not only complete the gap created by Marc Parc but to do more with the help of talented former Marc Parc employees. As part-time Marc Parc employees everyone held other full-time jobs where they practiced their specialties in the daytime and parked cars at night. There was simply enough talent around so Fasil moved ahead to create Capitol Valet Parking which later became Capitol Event Services as more and more services got integrated beyond valet parking.
